When I was a teenager, I honestly believed giving Christmas cards was an old fashioned event which almost nobody of my generation was participating in. I no longer think that and so I send Christmas cards to everyone in my address book. It's loads of fun to give and get cards with the post and it's also an excellent way to keep in contact with friends and family who I possibly would not otherwise get to see at other times.
