When I was a kid, I thought giving Christmas cards was an old event which absolutely no one my age was considering doing. I no longer think that and I now send Christmas cards every year without fail. It's heaps of fun to post and receive cards in the mail and it's also a fun way to remain in contact with friends and family who I probably would not otherwise be able to hear from at other times.
